Anthony Niles Chief Commercial Officer
Anthony Niles is seasoned investment executive with a career spanning over 20 years specializing in strategic partnership building, high-value deal execution, and mission driven growth. He brings a track record of building and scaling commercial platforms, closing complex transactions, and aligning capital with strategic opportunities across international markets.
He began his career shortly after 9/11 at the U.S. Department of State, Office of Counter-Terrorism under Secretary Powell and later Secretary Rice, at the intersection of finance and foreign policy related to the global war on terror. Anthony later co-founded Ilus Capital, where he played a central role in building the firm’s operating platform, assembling its team, and designing its go-to-market strategy. At Ilus Capital, Anthony led the firm’s cross-border investment program overseeing more than $170 million in transactions. His work focused on structuring and executing complex investments for private accredited investors and cultivating strategic partnerships with cross-border investors seeking investment opportunities within the U.S.
Following this, Anthony founded Boxwood Consultants, advising a select group of domestic and international families on U.S. policy and business interests. In this capacity, he has worked with senior stakeholders to navigate complex political environments, and drive revenue growth in mission-oriented sectors. His expertise includes operating within investment policy, bridging national security, economic strategy, and foreign relations, where alignment of capital, strategy, and long-term objectives are critical.
Anthony is the co-founder of JOBSwithDOD, the largest national security marketplace for defense technology companies seeking scalable growth through strategic hiring and access to mission-aligned human capital. The firm’s reach touches a labor force of over 300,000 monthly defense industry personnel. Working in tandem with leading private sector defense companies as well as the Pentagon’s civilian service, JOBSwithDOD empowers excellence through talent acquisition.
As Chief Commercial Officer of Decorus Imperium, Anthony is responsible for leading the firm’s global commercial strategy, including strategic partnerships and select market growth. He focuses on expanding the firm’s commercial objectives through disciplined deal execution, relationship-driven origination, and the development of durable, high-value partnerships.
Anthony is an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School and holds a B.S. in Legal Studies from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is an Eagle Scout and is based in Washington, DC.
