Throughout his career, Venkatesh has held senior leadership roles across leading regional and international financial institutions, where he has consistently driven balance sheet optimization, funding strategy innovation, and treasury transformation initiatives. His expertise spans asset-liability management (ALM), fixed income, derivatives, structured products, and liquidity management, supported by a strong track record of delivering sustainable growth and enhancing financial resilience.

Venkatesh has successfully built and led treasury functions from the ground up, navigated complex regulatory environments, and cultivated extensive relationships across financial institutions, sovereign entities, and institutional investors throughout the GCC and broader MENA region. His ability to align financial strategy with macroeconomic dynamics and investor expectations positions him as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and partners.

In his role at Decorus Imperium, Venkatesh is responsible for strengthening the firm’s investor ecosystem across the Middle East, driving capital engagement strategies, and supporting the firm’s expansion through disciplined financial communication and relationship management. Venkatesh holds an M.Tech in Industrial Management (Corporate Finance) from IIT Madras and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM). He is also an active contributor to the treasury and risk management community through advisory, training, and industry forums.
