David Crouch II CEO/Chief Investment Officer

David Crouch II serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Decorus Imperium, where he leads the firm’s strategic vision, investment philosophy, and global growth initiatives. A finance professional from an early age, David began by trading equities and went on to found a global financial literacy organization, now active across more than 30 countries. His early commitment to expanding access to financial education continues to inform his leadership and long-term vision for the firm.

In parallel with his work in finance, David has developed extensive experience in economic policy and government advisory. He has contributed to policy discussions in both the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, advising on issues including supply chain resilience, tax policy, and natural resource management. He has collaborated with officials across key federal departments, including the Department of Defense, Department of the Treasury, Department of State, and Department of Commerce, offering strategic insight on matters central to national security and economic stability.

David’s expertise also extends to digital assets and emerging financial technologies. With nearly a decade of experience in the cryptocurrency sector, he has been involved in efforts to support the development of regulatory frameworks governing centralized and decentralized exchanges, initial coin offerings, and decentralized finance. His work reflects a broader commitment to integrating traditional financial principles with next-generation innovation in global markets.

His investment and advisory experience spans both traditional and alternative assets. David has worked alongside Trinary Capital on investment banking initiatives, including projects in energy infrastructure such as solar arrays and liquefied natural gas refineries. He currently advises on oil and natural gas strategies in Eastern Europe, with a focus on national security and resilient supply chains, and has partnered with governments across the Balkans and Southern Europe on natural resource development and extraction.

David has completed the Yale Financial Markets program with honors and coursework in Behavioral Economics through Duke University. He is currently pursuing advanced graduate studies in finance and economic policy, while continuing independent research in areas including mechanism design, trade theory, and macro-financial modeling.

At Decorus Imperium, David brings together a multidisciplinary background in markets, policy, and global investment to drive long-term value creation and position the firm at the forefront of modern financial and strategic advisory.
