Carl Dickerson is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Dickerson Insurance Services, a leading firm in the health benefits sector. Since its founding in 1965, Carl has guided the company to become a trusted provider of comprehensive insurance solutions, combining his passion for accessible healthcare with decades of industry expertise. His early career as an educator at UC San Francisco and West Philadelphia High School shaped his commitment to empowering others, a principle that remains central to his work.
A graduate of Lincoln University, the nation’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University, Carl began his journey in the life insurance industry before transitioning to health benefits, where he found his true calling. Today, he shares leadership responsibilities with his sons-in-law, Tony Lee and Michael Wolff, who serve as CEO and President, respectively, continuing the company’s legacy of innovation and service.
